When I arrived to work yesterday I realized that my desktop computer wasn't working. I felt intrigued and thought that I could always use my laptop. It was an easy way out and as a web designer who made her task a week before planning I didn't need it. My laptop allows me to play some flash games at internet explorer too but I decided not to get too lazy and after taking the cables out I laid the desktop on my desk and opened it up. Everything looked fine but just in case I removed my ram, pulled the cables from the hard disks and after a quick clean I decided to turn on the computer again. It worked for like a minute and then turned off again. I realized that I wouldn't make any progress, I'm a web designer, even if I know a couple of things of hardware I'm certainly not a specialist, especially because when I was in college and there was a class about hardware all my attention went for internet explorer where I would do anything but listen. It's not something I'm proud to admit but what can I do? I always preferred the software stuff.

The worst thing about working in a web designing company is that most people don't understand anything about hardware, they probably were exactly like me in classes related to this. I went directly to my boss and told him the problem, he said that I shouldn't be worried about my desktop but with my web designer career. "You've to take more tasks instead of going a week without doing a thing, or I might have to fire you". I promised him that as soon as my desktop computer was ready I'd take more designing tasks and I'd personally talk to him about possible projects I could execute. He gave me a smile so I thought I wasn't in trouble, he called someone over the phone and told me to go to my desk and tell the problem to the technician. After my computer was fixed I opened my internet explorer and searched google for a mindless game. I thought "Tomorrow I'll start working but now I've the right to have some fun!".
